Robert was born in 1404. Robert's father was Ralph De NEVILLE and his mother was Joan DE BEAUFORT. His paternal grandparents were Lord John NEVILLE and Maud De PERCY; his maternal grandparents were John Of Gaunt Duke Of LANCASTER and Catherine (De Roet) SWYNFORD. He had ten brothers and seven sisters, named Richard, William, Henry, Thomas, Cuthbert, Robert Bishop De Durham, William (Earl De Kent) Baron, John, George, Edward, Catherine (Duchess), Joan, Eleanor, Anne, Anne Duchess De Buckingham, Cicely Duchess De York and Cecily. He had two half-brothers and ten half-sisters, named John, Ralph, Alice, Maud, Philippa, Elizabeth, Anne, Anastasia, Margaret, Philippa, Alice and Mary. He died at the age of 53 in 1457.General Notes
