John Cornelius MOBERLY 
John Cornelius was born on April 23rd, 1848 in Winchester, Hampshire. John Cornelius' father was George MOBERLY and his mother was Mary Anne CROKAT. His paternal grandparents were Edward MOBERLY and Sarah CAYLEY; his maternal grandparents were Thomas CROKAT and Elspeth Arbuthnot CAMPBELL. He had six brothers and eight sisters, named George Herbert, Arthur, Robert Campbell, Edward Hugh, Walter Allen, Selwyn William, Alice Arbuthnot, Mary Louisa, Edith Emily, Dora Frances, Elspeth Catherine, Frances Emily, Charlotte Anne Elizabeth and Margaret Helen. He was the fifth youngest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 79 on January 29th, 1928 in Bassett, Southampton, Hampshire.General Notes
