Elspeth Catherine was born on February 11th, 1843. Elspeth Catherine's father was George MOBERLY and her mother was Mary Anne CROKAT. Her paternal grandparents were Edward MOBERLY and Sarah CAYLEY; her maternal grandparents were Thomas CROKAT and Elspeth Arbuthnot CAMPBELL. She had seven brothers and seven sisters, named George Herbert, Arthur, Robert Campbell, John Cornelius, Edward Hugh, Walter Allen, Selwyn William, Alice Arbuthnot, Mary Louisa, Edith Emily, Dora Frances, Frances Emily, Charlotte Anne Elizabeth and Margaret Helen. She was the seventh oldest of the fifteen children. She died at the age of 58 on May 24th, 1901.General Notes
