Cecily's father was Geoffrey FITZ PIERS and her mother was Aveline DE CLARE. Her paternal grandparents were Piers DE LUTEGARESHALE and Maud DE MANDEVILLE; her maternal grandparents were Roger DE CLARE and Maud DE ST. HILARY. She had a brother and two sisters, named John, Cicely and Hawise. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry, William, Geoffrey, Warin, Maude and Maud. She died before June 29th, 1253.-
