John FITZ GEOFFREY 
John was born in 1208 in Shere, Surrey, England.1 John's father was Geoffrey FITZ PIERS and his mother was Aveline DE CLARE. His paternal grandparents were Piers DE LUTEGARESHALE and Maud DE MANDEVILLE; his maternal grandparents were Roger DE CLARE and Maud DE ST. HILARY. He had three sisters named Cicely, Hawise and Cecily. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry, William, Geoffrey, Warin, Maude and Maud.
