Bertrade DE MONTFORT 
Bertrade was born in 1155 in Montfort, Eure, France.1 Bertrade's father was Simon DE MONTFORT and her mother was Maud UNKNOWN. Her paternal grandparents were Amauri DE MONTFORT and Agnes DE GARLANDE. She had two brothers named Amauri and Simon. She was the youngest of the three children. She died at the age of 34 on July 12th, 1189 in Evreux, Eure, France.1 General Notes

‌Bertrade and Hugh were married in a religious ceremony in 1169.1 They had a son and six daughters, named Ranulph, Maud, Mathilda, Mabel, Agnes, Amicia and Hawise.
