Hugh DE COURTENAY 
Hugh was born on July 12th, 1303. Hugh's father was Hugh DE COURTENAY and his mother was Agnes ST. JOHN. His paternal grandparents were Hugh DE COURTENAY and Eleanor DESPENCER; his maternal grandparents were John DE ST. JOHN and Alice FITZPIERS. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Robert, Thomas, Eleanor (Edeline?) and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 73 on May 2nd, 1377. He was buried in Exeter Cathedral.1 General Notes
