Robert DE COURTENAY 
Robert was born in 1307. Robert's father was Hugh DE COURTENAY and his mother was Agnes ST. JOHN. His paternal grandparents were Hugh DE COURTENAY and Eleanor DESPENCER; his maternal grandparents were John DE ST. JOHN and Alice FITZPIERS. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Hugh, Thomas, Eleanor (Edeline?) and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the six children.
