Eleanor (Alianore) was born in October 1292 in Caerphill Castle, Caerphill, Gloucestershire, England.  Eleanor (Alianore)'s father was Gilbert (Sir) "The Red" 9Th Earl DE CLARE and her mother was Joan Of Acre PLANTAGENET.  Her maternal grandparents were Edward I "Longshanks" King DE ENGLAND and Eleanor (Countess) DE CASTILE. She had four sisters named Margaret, Alianor, Elizabeth and Elizabeth. She had a half-brother named Thomas Baron.  She died at the age of 44 on June 30th, 1337 in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, England.
