Reginald was born about 1155 in Bramber, Sussex.1 Reginald's father was William DE BRAIOSE and his mother was Bertha OF HEREFORD. His paternal grandparents were Philip DE BRAIOSE and Aenor DE TOTENEIS; his maternal grandparents were Miles DE GLOUCESTER and Sybil DE NEUFMARCHE. He had two brothers and six sisters, named William, Reginald, Sibyl, Matilda, Sybil, Sibyl, Bertha and Bertha. He died in 1225.1 General Notes
