James CALDWELL

James was born on November 19th, 1753.  James' father was William CALDWELL and his mother was Isabella CLARKE.  His paternal grandfather was David CALDWELL; his maternal grandfather was Abraham CLARKE. He had four brothers and five sisters, named David, William, Alexander, Clerke, Isabella, Margaret, Nancy Amelia, Anne and Mary.  He was the oldest of the ten children.
