Maijke Or Mayre was born about 1634 in Amsterdam, North Holland, Holland. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Ewout, Arent, Ewout, Arent, Maijke Or Mayre, Elizabeth, Lijsbetjen (Leysebeth, Elisabeth) and Elizabeth.  She was the third youngest of the nine children.  Maijke Or Mayre is no longer alive.
