William MOODY 
William was born on March 10th, 1794 in Surrey, NC. William's father was Thomas MOODY and his mother was Mary YOUNG. His paternal grandparents were Thomas MOODY and Mary UNKNOWN; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Cadet YOUNG and Judith JOHNSON. He had four brothers and six sisters, named John Wyatt, Henry, Thomas, Benjamin Epps, Nancy, Sarah (Sally), Elizabeth, Clarisse, Lucinda "Lucy" and Temperence. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 66 on January 21st, 1861 in Tippah Co., MS.General Notes
