Margaret LEACH 
Margaret was born in 1814 in Belfast, Downs, Ireland.1 Margaret's father was Hugh LEACH and her mother was Anna JAMESON. Her paternal grandparents were Robert LEACH and Margret NELSON; her maternal grandparents were John JAMESON and Agnes Scott. She had nine brothers and two sisters, named Hugh, Andrew, James, Alexander, John, Charles, Henry, Thomas, William, Isabelle and Mary Ann. She was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 36 on April 16th, 1850 in Louisville, Hancock, Kentucky. She was buried in Louisville, Hancock, Kentucky.
‌Margaret and John Nelson were married in a religious ceremony on November 7th, 1842 in Hilsboro, Ireland.1 They had two sons and a daughter, named Joseph Hugh Leach, James Blair and Sarah Ann.

Joseph Hugh Leach Harper

James Blair Harper
James Blair was born on April 6th, 1845 in Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois. He died at the age of 2 on June 15th, 1847.
Sarah Ann Harper
Sarah Ann was born on November 28th, 1846 in Galena, Hancock, Illinois. She died at the age of 70 on April 24th, 1917.
