John LEACH

John was born on January 20th, 1808 in Belfast, Down, Ireland.  John's father was Hugh LEACH and his mother was Anna JAMESON.  His paternal grandparents were Robert LEACH and Margret NELSON; his maternal grandparents were John JAMESON and Agnes Scott. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Hugh, Andrew, James, Alexander, Charles, Henry, Thomas, William, Margaret, Isabelle and Mary Ann.  He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 44 in 1852.
