Abner Almon JENKINS 
Abner Almon was born on February 8th, 1856 in Mathias, Hardy, WV. Abner Almon's father was William Wallace JENKINS and his mother was Virginia SHERMAN. His paternal grandparents were Almon Abner JENKINS and Sarah SAGER; his maternal grandparents were Philip SHIREMAN and Polly STRAWDERMAN. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Henry Jehu, Silas Pierce, Caroline Frances, Juan Fernandez and Jemima Virginia. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 90 on April 8th, 1946.-
