Mary was born on January 1st, 1700 in Smithfield, Providence, RI. Mary's father was Zuriel HALL and her mother was Susanna Sheffield. Her paternal grandparents were Zuriel HALL and Elizabeth TRIPP. She had a brother and six sisters, named Seth, Elizabeth, Susannah, Patience, Urania, Abigail and Ruth. She was the second oldest of the eight children.
