Neone Klaasson was born on July 6th, 1817 in Flachsmeer, Ostfriesland, Germany. Neone Klaasson's father was Claas Classen Soorholz and her mother was Taalke Alberts Jacobs Roskam. Her paternal grandparents were Claas Reinders Soorholz and Neone Loerts; her maternal grandparents were Albert Roskam and Gesche Koller. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Johann Jacobs, Klaas Reinders, Gaesche Claasson, Wobke, Alberdena and Klaasina. She was the second oldest of the seven children.
