Gaesche Claasson was born on March 20th, 1816 in Flachsmeer, Ostfriesland, Germany. Gaesche Claasson's father was Claas Classen Soorholz and her mother was Taalke Alberts Jacobs Roskam. Her paternal grandparents were Claas Reinders Soorholz and Neone Loerts; her maternal grandparents were Albert Roskam and Gesche Koller. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Johann Jacobs, Klaas Reinders, Neone Klaasson, Wobke, Alberdena and Klaasina. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 30 on August 24th, 1846 in Flachsmeer, Ostfriesland, Germany.-
