Barney Kruger 
Barney was born on April 11th, 1885 in Grundy County, Iowa. Barney's father was Klaas C. Kruger and his mother was Berenedena Groenhagen. His paternal grandparents were Christian (Chris) Eilers Kruger and Neone Klaasson Soorholz. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Rev. Harm Tammen, Christian, Henry K., Klaas Barney, Albert John, Naunia and Gertie. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 57 on July 24th, 1942 in Grundy County, Iowa.-
