Gilbert De Stapleton

Gilbert was born about 1288 in Stapleton, Yorkshire, England. Gilbert's father was Sir Miles II De Stapleton and his mother was Sybil De Belleau. His paternal grandparents were Nicholas De Stapleton and Margery Basset; his maternal grandparents were John De Belleau and Laderina De Brus. He had a brother named Sir Miles III.
