Simon II De Montfort 
Simon II was born about 1068 in Montfort Amaury, Ile De France, France. Simon II's father was Simon de Montfort and his mother was Agnes d'Evereux. His paternal grandparents were II Amaury and Bertrade de Gommetz; his maternal grandparents were Count d'Evereux Richard and Alice Godehilde Fitzwilliam Borrel. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Amaury IV, Hugo, Guillaume, Bertgrade and Adeliza. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Amaury "The Strong" and Isabelle.-
