William De Chesney 
William was born in 1093. William's father was Roger de Chesney and his mother was Alice de Langetot. His paternal grandparents were Sire de Quesnay Ralph and Maud de Wateville; his maternal grandfather was Ralph de Langetot. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Roger, Ralph, Robert, Hugh, Isabel, Beatrice and Hawise. He was the oldest of the eight children.-
