Robert De Chesney 
Robert was born about 1100. Robert's father was Roger de Chesney and his mother was Alice de Langetot. His paternal grandparents were Sire de Quesnay Ralph and Maud de Wateville; his maternal grandfather was Ralph de Langetot. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William, Roger, Ralph, Hugh, Isabel, Beatrice and Hawise. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.-
