Jane Elizabeth was born in April 1844 in Grayson County, Kentucky. Jane Elizabeth's father was James Monroe Caldwell and her mother was Mariah Donnelly. Her paternal grandparents were John Caldwell and Elizabeth "Betsy" Akers. She was an only child. She died at the age of 64 on November 17th, 1908 in Franklin, Simpson County, Kentucky.-
