Sancha was born in 1225 in Aix-en-Provence, Bouches-du-Rhone, France.  Sancha's father was Raymond Bâerenger and her mother was Bâeatrice de Savoie.  Her paternal grandparents were III Alphonso and Gersende de Sabran; her maternal grandparents were I Thomas and Margaret of Geneva. She had a brother and three sisters, named Raymond, Elâonore, Marguerite and Bâeatrice.  She was the second youngest of the five children.  She died at the age of 36 on November 9th, 1261 in Berwick, Norhtumberland, England.  She was buried in Aachen Catherdal, Germany; Countess; Queen of the Romans.


Sancha's family with Richard Plantagenet

‌Sancha and Richard were married in a religious ceremony on November 23rd, 1243 in Westminster Abbey, Middlesex, England.  They had three sons named Richard, Edward and Richard.
