Thomas was born about 1245. Thomas' father was Richard I de Clare and his mother was Maude de Lacy. His paternal grandparents were Gilbert III de Clare and Isabelle Marshall; his maternal grandparents were John de Lacy and Margaret de Quincey. He had a sister named Roese. He died on August 29th, 1287.-
