Ervin Williams

Ervin was born on May 5th, 1847 in Goshen,Washington Co,Arkansas.  Ervin's father was Rial Williams and his mother was Kittie Sanders.  His paternal grandparents were Philemon Williams and Lucy Green; his maternal grandparents were George Woodward Saunders and Drusilla Best. He had a brother and a sister, named Burton Sanders and Infant Girl.  He was the oldest of the three children. He had nine half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Infant Boy, Philimon, Moses, Rial, Garrett, Thomas Martin, Robert, Warren, Green, Sena, Elizabeth, Nancy, Lucinda, Margaret, Phoebe, Orpha and Matilda Ann.  He died at the age of 80 in June 1927.

‌Ervin and Bettie Shannon were married in a religious ceremony on March 12th, 1874 in Arkansas.
