William I, "The Conquerer", King of England was born on October 14th, 1024 in Falaise,Calvados,Normandy,France.1   William I, "The Conquerer", King of England's father was Robert I, "The Devil", Duke of Normandy and his mother was Herleve of Falaise.  His paternal grandparents were Richard II, "The Good", Duke of Normandy and Judith de Bretagne; his maternal grandparents were Fulbert of Falaise and Doda of Falaise. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Odo of Kent, Robert of Mortain, Adelhide, Adeaide of Normandy and Godiva of Normandy. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Andre, Seigneur de Vitre, Odo, Robert, Count de Mortaigne, <Unnamed>, Mathilde, Emenhilde and Muriel.  He died at the age of 62 on September 9th, 1087 in Hermenbraville,Rouen,France.1

‌William I, "The Conquerer", King of England and Matilda of Flanders were married in a religious ceremony about 1053.1   They had four sons and six daughters, named Robert III, Duke of Normandy, Richard, William II "Rufus", King of England, Henry I, "Beauclerc", King of England, Cecily, Abbess of Caen, Matilda, Constance, Adele of Normandy, Princess of England, Gundred, Princess of England and Agatha.
