Daniel M. Vinson 
Daniel M. was born in 1798 in North Carolina.1 Daniel M.'s father was William Vinson and his mother was Lucy Guthrie. He was an only child. He died at the age of 81 in 1879 in Ava,Douglas County,Missouri. He was buried in Turkey Creek Cemetery,Ava,Douglas,MO.1 1 General Notes
William Vinson, possible father of Daniel, moved with Daniel from NC to Adair Co, KY to Tazwell Co. IL and he (Wm) stayed there in IL and is buried in Dewitt Co.
The Vinson family mill and family home in Washington Co., AR was burned sometime before 1870. After the fires they moved to Douglas Co., MO.
Daniel and Ann lived in Tazewell Co., IL in 1831, in 1844 they moved to Arkansas (Ann died, married Sarah, Sarah died, married Serena), When the Civil war started Daniel and Serena moved to Douglas Co. MO, this was about 1865. He moved to Missouri because he had sons and sons-in-law fighting on both sides.
Arkansas Tax Lists, 1830-1839, Daniel Vinson, Madison Co., Arkansas. 1840 census show he lived in Madison Co. AR. 1850 census show he lived in Washington Co., Clear Creek Twn, AR. His property in MO was just east of Ava. Turkey Creek cemetery sign is located on the property. Vinson, Mathew and Hodge families built the church on this property in 1923.
Daniel M. and Ann were married in a religious ceremony on February 19th, 1818 in Adair County,Kentucky. They had three sons and nine daughters, named John, Marion, William David, Susanah (Susan), Elizabeth, Mahala, Barbara S., Martha, Ann, Cyrene Ann, Mary and Sarah A..

Elizabeth Vinson
Elizabeth was born in 1825 in Sangamon County,Illinois. She died at the age of 69 in 1894 in Washington County,Arizona (now Madison County).
Daniel M. and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony about 1842 in Washington County,Arkansas. They had three sons and three daughters, named Benjamin Newton, Issac, Larkin, Rebecca, Nancy and Lucy.

Benjamin Newton was born on February 8th, 1849 in Washington County,Arkansas (now Madison County). He died at the age of 55 on August 5th, 1904 in Ava,Missouri.
Daniel M. and Serena were married in a religious ceremony on February 12th, 1856 in Elm Springs,Washington County,Arkansas.1 They had three sons and three daughters, named Ambrose William Willoughby, Randolph, Marion, Mary E., Lorinda Clementine and William David.

Lorinda Clementine Vinson
Lorinda Clementine was born on September 12th, 1865 in Ava,Missouri.1 She died at the age of 96 on August 30th, 1962 in Prob. Miami,Oklahoma.1
