Joseph Toothman

Joseph was born in 1836 in Decatur,Sand Creek,IN.  Joseph's father was *David Toothman and his mother was *Dolly \Dorothy Evans.  His paternal grandparents were *John Toothman and *Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were *Jacob Evans and *Elizabeth. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William, Ratliff, Newton, Jasper, *Russell, John, Catherine and Ana A..  He was the second oldest of the nine children.

‌Joseph and Mary Jane were married in a religious ceremony on May 24th, 1855 in Fulton Co.,IN.
