Alexander STEPHENS 
Alexander was born about 1775 in Salisbury,Rowan,Nc. Alexander's father was Richard STEPHENS and his mother was Martha ROBERTS. His paternal grandparents were John STEPHENS and Mrs. John STEPHENS; his maternal grandparents were William ROBERTS and Mrs Eleanor ROBERTS. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named William, John, James, Richard, Honor, (A Son), STEPHENS, Martha, Elizabeth, Jane and Honor. He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He died on February 7th, 1824 in ,Rowan Co,North Carolina. He was buried on February 7th, 1824.General Notes
