Obediah Pruett 
Obediah was born in 1752 in VA. Obediah's father was William Pruett and his mother was Judith Dudley. His paternal grandparents were Thomas (Sr) Pruett and Mary Magdalene Chastain. He had nine brothers named David, Richard, Willis, Samuel, Joshua, Ransom, John, Dudley and Peter. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 44 in 1796 in Union Co,SC.-
