Mary and her first husband, Nicholas, had no children when they came to Virginia on the ship "The Nassau" in 1699. their sons Nicholas ducray and Jean ducray would have been born between 1701 and 1714, since they first show up in the 1730 tithables of Goochland Co., VA. Mary and nicholas were French Hugenots.
On Dec. 16, 1733, Mary, godmother to Zacarie, son of Jacque Robinson and susane, born Dec. 15, 1733, presented to baptism by jean Chastain and Rene Chastain. Mary had to have been a close relative of the Peter Chastain-Anne Soblet family. Mary and Nicholas ducray named a son Jean ducray, and mary and Thomas Pruett named a sone Rene Pruett.
‌Mary Magdalene and Thomas (Sr) were married in a religious ceremony in 1719 in Henrico Co.,VA. They had eight sons and a daughter, named Thomas (Jr), Abraham, Renny Rene, David, Michael, Jean, Nicholas, William and Daughter.
