Hannah Lewisa was born on May 27th, 1839 in Warrick County,Indiana. Hannah Lewisa's father was John D. Powers and her mother was Feriby Taylor. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac H. Powers and Abigail Davis. She had a brother and two sisters, named John Dennis, Lavina (Vina) Jane and Abigail. She was the second oldest of the four children. She had four half-brothers named William, Joseph, Samuel D. or and Stephen A.. She died at the age of 68 on June 17th, 1907. She was buried in Log Creek Cemetary,Pike County,Indiana.-
