Adela was born in 1063 in Normandy.  Adela's father was William I The Conqueror and her mother was Maud Matilda Of Flanders.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert I Duke Of Normandy and Harlette Herleve; her maternal grandparents were Baldwin V De Lille and Adele De France. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Robert III, Richard, William II, Henry I, William, Cecilia, Adeliza, Agatha, Constance and Matilda.  She died at the age of 74 on March 8th, 1137 in Marcignu-Sur-Loire.  She was buried in Caen.


Adela's family with Stephen Of Blois

‌Adela and Stephen were married in a religious ceremony in 1085 in Breteuil And Chartres.  They had seven sons and five daughters, named Theobald II, Stephen, Henry, Eudo, Humbert, William, Philip, Adela, Agnes, Alice, Maud and Eleanor.
