Matilda was born on February 7th, 1101 in Winchester,Hampshire,England.  Matilda's father was Henry I and her mother was Matilda Maud.  Her paternal grandparents were William I The Conqueror and Maud Matilda Of Flanders; her maternal grandparents were Malcolm III and Margaret Atheling St.. She had two brothers named William and Richard. She had seven half-brothers and nine half-sisters, named Robert, William, Reginald, Robert, Richard Juliane, Fulk, Henry, Sybilla, Rohese, Gundred, Juliane, Elizabeth, Matilda, Matilda, Constance and Isabel.  She died at the age of 66 on September 10th, 1167 in Rouen,Normandy.


Matilda's first family with Henry V

‌Matilda and Henry V were married in a religious ceremony on January 7th, 1114 in Maine.


Matilda's second family with Geoffrey V Plantagenet

‌Matilda and Geoffrey V were married in a religious ceremony on April 3rd, 1127 in Les Mans Cathedral,Sarthe,France.  They had three sons and a daughter, named Henry II, Geoffrey, William and Emma.
