Gideon A. Jones 
Gideon A. was born on May 13th, 1836 in Huntsville,Madison County,Arkansas. Gideon A.'s father was William Pitner Jones and his mother was Sarah Ann Anderson. His paternal grandparents were John Holman Jones and Nancy Drew. He had six brothers and five sisters, named John Holman, William Wiley, Johnathan Jordan, David, Smith M."MITT", James Monroe G., Sarah J., Nancy, Phoebe M., Frances Ann and Louisa E.. He died at the age of 79 on April 5th, 1916 in Carroll County,Arkansas,USA. He was buried in Walker Cemetery,near Osage,Carroll County,Arkansas.General Notes
