Laura M. Gerould 
Laura M. was born on February 13th, 1860 in East Smithfield,PA. Laura M.'s father was Samuel Wood Gerould and her mother was Ann Ophelia Beach. Her paternal grandparents were *James Gerould and *Lois Wood. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Martin Elwood, Truman Wood, Afton Beach, Flora Emeline, Ruth Ida and Annie Lucelia. graduated with degree of Ph. B., of Hiram College Class of 1885; married in East Smithfield, Pa., November 17, 1885, to WARREN CRAIG, of Warren, Ohio, son of Thomas and Margaret (Pew) Craig; born in Warren, Ohio, September 25, 1859; he graduated with degree of A. B. from Hiram College, being valedictorian of class of 1884, and has since been awarded from same college, A. M.; he is in the insurance business, and resided, 1905, in Buffalo, N. Y., where he and wife were members of the Richmond Ave. Christian Church. Mrs. Craig is the author and publisher of the game "Progressive Biography"; also author of the "Saturday Talk Series" of books for young folks; "Little Presidents" "Little Kings," "Little Queens," "Little Generals," "Little Orators," and "Little Statesmen;" she was President of the N. Y. State Christian Woman's Board of Missions, also President of Buffalo West Side W. C. T. U., and Director of the Normal Department of the Christian Church Sunday School, and author of Supplemental Lessons for Graded Sunday Schools. They had one child.
