James Silas Ferguson 
James Silas was born on August 1st, 1829 in Pike County,Indiana. James Silas' father was Peter Ferguson and his mother was Margaret Ann Addison Burton Twiford. His paternal grandparents were John Ferguson and Susan Ashby; his maternal grandparents were James Twiford and Margaret Addison. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, Thomas, Jackson, Joseph, Levi, Henry, Mary and Mahala. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 84 on February 14th, 1914 in Folsomville,Indiana. He was buried in Garrison Chapel,Warrick County,Indiana.-
