Genevieve was born in 1653 in St-Nurel, V., AR. Et Ev. Troyes, Champagne (Aube), France.1 Genevieve's father was Nicolas Tessier-Terillon and her mother was Jeanne Veriot. She was an only child. She died at the age of 68 on November 12th, 1721 in Ile-Dupas, Quebec, Canada.1 General Notes

Genevieve and Pierre were married in a religious ceremony on July 4th, 1673 in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.1 They had three sons and two daughters, named Pierre Joly Dit, Marc Antoine Joly Dit, Julien Dit Delbec Dit, Genevieve Joly Dit and Marie Anne Joly Dit.
