Marie-Catherine was born about 1646 in Notre-Dame-DE-Cogne, V., AR. Et Ev. Larochelle, Aunis, France.1   Marie-Catherine's father was Pierre Pillat and her mother was Marguerite Moulinet.  Her paternal grandparents were Pierre Pillat and Marguerite Borichaud.  She was an only child.  She died on July 23rd, 1717 in Montreal, Quebec Province, Canada.1 


Marie-Catherine's first family with Pierre Charron

‌Marie-Catherine and Pierre were married in a religious ceremony on October 19th, 1665 in Montreal, Quebec Province, Canada.1   They had four sons and eight daughters, named Pierre, Nicolas Charron Dit, Francois Charron Dir, Jean, Catherine, Marie-Charlotte Charron Dit, Antoinette, Marie-Therese, Catherine, Helene, Louise and Marie Jeanne.
