Catherine was born on September 23rd, 1666 in Montreal, Quebec Province, Canada.1   Catherine's father was Pierre Charron and her mother was Marie-Catherine Plat.  Her paternal grandparents were Pierre Charron and Judith Martin; her maternal grandparents were Pierre Pillat and Marguerite Moulinet. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Pierre, Nicolas Charron Dit, Francois Charron Dir, Jean, Marie-Charlotte Charron Dit, Antoinette, Marie-Therese, Catherine, Helene, Louise and Marie Jeanne.  She was the oldest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 79 on June 5th, 1746 in Verchères, Verchères Co.  She was buried on June 7th, 1746 in Verchères, Verchères Co.

‌Catherine and François Chagnon Dit were married in a religious ceremony on September 23rd, 1679 in Contrecour, Vercheres, Quebec.  They had a daughter named Angelique.


Catherine's second family with Daniel Tetreau

‌Catherine and Daniel were married in a religious ceremony on October 10th, 1694 in Vercheres, Vercheres, Quebec.  They had a daughter named Marie Catherine.
