Joan de Stafford 
Joan's father was Sir Ralph de Stafford 1st Earl of Stafford and her mother was Margaret de Audley. Her paternal grandparents were Edmund de Stafford 1st Baron de Stafford and Margaret Basset. She had a brother and two sisters, named Hugh, Elizabeth and Beatrice. She had two half-sisters named Margaret and Joan. She died after 1348.General Notes
She is "said to be daughter of Ralph de Stafford, 1st earl of Stafford." The 1580 Visitation of Cheshire identifes her as Ralph's daughter, but the identification has not been confirmed by contemporary records. Contemporary records do confirm that the given name of Nicholas Beke's wife was Joan.
