Ann was born before 1466 in Kent, England.  Ann's father was George de Grey Baron of Ruthyn 5th and her mother was Katherine Herbert.  Her paternal grandparents were Edmund de Grey 4th Lord de Grey and Katherine de Percy; her maternal grandfather was William Herbert Earl of Pembroke. She had two brothers named Anthony and Henry. She had a half-brother named Richard.  She died in April 1546 in Caythorpe, Lincolnshire, England.  She was buried in April 1546 in Caythorpe, Lincolnshire, England.

‌Ann and John were married in a religious ceremony about 1485 in Caythorpe, Lincolnshire, England.  They had three sons and six daughters, named Giles, Gilbert, Thomas, Mary, Bridget, Anne, Jane-Sibilla, Dorothy and Elizabeth.
