John Perryman 
John was born in 1790 in , , North Carolina. John's father was Joseph Perryman and his mother was Nancy Gates. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Perryman and Margaret; his maternal grandparents were Philip Gates and Sarah Mariah Wright. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Joseph Wilson, Isaac, Edmund, Phillip Gates, Allen, Jacob, Ransom, Ann, Margaret and Elizabeth.
