William Mortimer

William was born about 1258 in Of Wigmore, Herefordshire, England. William's father was Roger Mortimer and his mother was Maud Braose. His paternal grandparents were Ralph II de Mortimer and Gladuse Day. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Ralph, Edmund, Geffrey, Roger, Isabella and Margaret. He was the second youngest of the seven children.
