Godeheut was born in 1136 in of Conches, Normandy. Godeheut's father was Sir Roger III de Toeni and her mother was Lady Ida of Hainaut. She had a brother named Ralph V. She was the younger of the two children.

Isabel was born in 1166 in Ferrieres, Normandy. She died at the age of 74 on April 29th, 1240. She was buried in Hospital of St., John Lechlade, Gloucester, England.
