Robert De Grentemesnil 
Robert De was born about 1052 in Grentemesnil, Calvados, France. Robert De's father was Hugh De Grentmesnil Lord of Hinckle and his mother was Adeliza Or Alice De Beaumont. He had four brothers and six sisters, named William De, Hugh De, Ivo (Ives) De, Alberic De, Adeline De, Halewise De, Rohese De, Matilda (Maud) De, Agnes De and Hawise De. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Robert II De and Alice. He died in 1122.
They had a son named Hugh II De.
