Hugh De Grentemesnil

Hugh De was born about 1060 in Grentemesnil, Calvados, France.  Hugh De's father was Hugh De Grentmesnil Lord of Hinckle and his mother was Adeliza Or Alice De Beaumont. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Robert De, William De, Ivo (Ives) De, Alberic De, Adeline De, Halewise De, Rohese De, Matilda (Maud) De, Agnes De and Hawise De.  He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Robert II De and Alice.  He died in 1087.  He was buried in St. Evroult, Normandy, France.
